Can you realize that Expo 2020 Dubai is less than a month away? The first Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia is taking place in Dubai, and organizers expect 25 million people over the course of the six-month event. We couldn’t be more excited about what has been labeled the world’s greatest show, with fantastic pavilions and experiences already unveiled. Until now, that is.
At the Expo 2020 Dubai site, two additional attractions have been presented. The first, The Expo 2020 Water Feature, will see water defy gravity and flow upwards, while Garden in the Sky does exactly what it says on the tin, offering breathtaking vistas of the entire location.
Ramin Djawadi, the award-winning composer of the Game of Thrones theme music, will write an orchestral composition for the Water Feature. It boasts 13-metre-high vertical walls with sheets of water streaming down them, and it has made an immediate splash.
The water flows into a circle of fire (made with pure hydrogen) during the day, but after dark, the H20 reverses course, flowing backwards up the walls in a nature-defying feat. Meanwhile, the Garden in the Sky, which stands 55 meters tall, is the ideal spot for viewing the park while being surrounded by nature. Beautiful flora and fauna may be found, including golden flame trees, which can be accessed by revolving cabins.
Food outlets, art pieces, a stage, the World Souq, and a playground are all located in Jubilee Park, which also houses the high garden. We’re all waiting for Friday, October 1 with bated breath.
